I just went through a tough short sell process with a realtor that I hired and at the end seem to be working for the buyer. I contacted the mortgage company just after the settlement and they informed me that they would have been able to provide several options of modification packages to help save my former home. With the settlement only one day old, could I reverse my decision to sell or is all done and gone?[/b][/b]
Welcome Blessed,
You may try to reverse your decision. You should contact your realtor and the buyer and inform them that you do not plan to go ahead with the short sale any more. However, if you've signed any agreement with them, then they may sue you for canceling the agreement.
