i have had my house for the last 1 yr and a half. I always pay my mortgage on time. My delimma is that now i am getting married in another state and my fiance already has another house. I am contemplating a short sale because i will be moving. please advice. will the bank honor my request.
you can give it on rent and use rental income to pay your monthy charges.

If you shortsell how much difference you have to pay to the bank??
shortsell will not affect your score but it will be a long toll on your pocket on immediate basis.make sure you have good financial balance when you want to do short sell.
giving it on rent is also a good choice.

It will be the lender's discretion whether or not he would accept a short sale. You need to contact your lender and apply for a short sale. You can even speak to the lender about a deed in lieu. Though this would affect your credit score, you will not be liable for the deficient amount resulting from the sale of the property.
