Does two parties have to sign documents for a home loan modification?
Hi josephine!
Welcome to forums!
If the names of both the parties are mentioned on the mortgage documents, then both of them will have to sign the document for loan modification.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Hi, Josephine,
To get a loan modification both the parties needs to sign the paper if the mortgage is in both parties name. However, both parties needs to qualify for the loan as the lender will check the credit score, source of income and credit history of both the parties.
