Back in 2006, I sold my house.my I did not receive the money from the proceeds. My realtor told me my money was in an escrow account. i have yet to find the money. I have tried everything. Is there anything i can do to get back my money from the sell? I have tried to even take them to court, they did not have a fraud unit. They had just started in the year of my release. Since i was incareaterd in 2007, and did get release in 2009. I have had no success. the Realtors went bankrupt. Is there a chance I may be able to recover or is it just a lost? losing 100,00 is no laughing matter. It appears that some people can get away with doing anything. i paid my dues. Is it not right for the realtors to be held accountable?
Hi darnell!

If the realtors went bankrupt, then it will be quite difficult for you to get back the money. You should have claimed your dues when they filed bankruptcy. This would have helped you in getting back the money. Nevertheless, you can once again contact an attorney and check out if he can help you in any way.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

When did the realtors go bankrupt? Is it during the period when you got incarcerated? If it had been so, it is really tough to get back the money. Anyways, as suggested by Smith, it would be wise to seek legal help.
