How long to get the payments reimbursed?
If you have the insurance on your home then surely the remaining amount will be paid by the third party insurance and the remaining mortgage will be adjusted against the insurance money received from the insurer.
now they have charged you three months but i need to know that if your husband is no more then from whose account they have charged the money?
They can not charge the bill to the person who is no more.Besides if you are a co-owner of the mortgage then it might be possible that they may deduct the money from your account but i won't find any reason for the delay from the insurance company in order to pay the insurance money to the lender.
If still those lenders are deducting the amount from your account then you can clearly tell it to the Bank commissioner of your states about the practice.
