I am one of those subprime borrowers..
Let me say I have never in 2 yrs been late on a mortgage payment. Our ARM is set to adjust in Dec(possible raise of $500 +/mo) and trying to continue to be responsible for my debt contacted Hope Now to try to prevent a trainwreck! Now it is up to Countrywide to decide if they want to help. I was wondering what people's experiences were with CW in willingness to restructure?
Does BofA own CW now?

Hi mysotis!
Welcome to the Forums!
I do not have a personal experience with Countrywide but I have heard good things about the company. As far as my knowledge is concerned, Bank of America still owns Countrywide. Bank of Americas deal with Countrywide has helped a large number of people with unaffordable mortgages to restructure their mortgage. I hope that in future you have one of the best experiences with Countrywide.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
