I do Tax work and have several clients whom , after I have spent the time to do the work, refuse to pay. I have sent threatning letters and so forth, and spent countless hours on the phone trying to collect this debt.

What recourse do I have to collect my monies. Does this constitute Theft of Services.
Hi clark,

As far as I can understand your situation, it can be termed as theft of services. You need to contact an attorney and take his suggestions in order to deal with the situation.

Take care.

I agree with the above statement you should contact an attorney, and get their take on this. It would be the same as going to eat at a restaurant, and then not paying the bill that is considered stealing. I hope you are able to get your money from these people.
