I want to stop paying my TS. I dont find the time to take vacations due to work, school and family. my TS is calling me everyday for their money. It was a friend who had heard of it and made us get involve. but i think it a wast of money and a load to carry. I keep avoiding to talk the my lender. please advise me. and thanks for this site I alway thought i was the only one.
Hi ranancy,
If you avoid talking to your lender it will not solve the problem. If you have stopped paying the lender, he will come after you. If you cannot afford the keep the timeshare, you should consider the option of doing deed in lieu (DIL) of foreclosure on the property. This way you can transfer the timeshare title to the lender and avoid the foreclosure.
