I filed Chapter 7 one year back and even received a discharge. I have only one secured credit card. Credit scores have been improving over the past 12 months, but TransUnion appears to be stalled. There is around 81 point gap between the high and the low scores. I have noticed that the secured Visa is not reported on TransUnion. In fact almost no information is shown on my TransUnion report. What should I do now?
Hi Karren,
You should note that not all creditors report the accounts to all credit bureaus. There is a high chance that your creditor for secured credit card does not report accounts to Transunion. So, there can be a discrepancy in your credit scores.
Thanks

Hi Karren!
Welcome to forums!
I agree with what James has said. Not all accounts are reported to all the credit bureaus. You may ask the creditor of your secured VISA card to report your account to TransUnion. If he does so, then hopefully, that will have a positive impact on your scores.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Yes, I agree too. The 81 point gap in between the two scores is not unnatural. Not all creditors report to all of the credit bureaus. So, you need not worry much about this. You definitely can talk to the creditor regarding this. You can request them to start reporting your account to TransUnion.
