I received my paperwork for my trial loan modification. I thought we had to sign something and send it back. No? There's nothing in there for us to sign. Says that when we send our 1st trial payment in, that we're agreeing to the trial mod. Sound right?
Another question: All the statements are "if we decide to permanantly modify" and "we would then permanantly modify". What is it that they're looking for in these few months that can disqualify us for a permanant modification? I don't want to screw this up, so any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Welcome aspire4grace,
As far as I know, you'll have to agree to the terms and conditions of the trial payment in order to go ahead with the payments. You should contact your lender and clarify the matter before making the payments. If the clarification from the lender's end satisfies you, then you should start making the payment.
