When they agree to do a Deed in Lieu, how long do they usually give you to vacate the property?
Hi JPetri,
As far as I know, once the deed in lieu of foreclosure sale is over, the lender and the new buyer will send you a 3 day notice to leave the property. You'll have to leave the property within that time frame. If you want some more time to leave the property, then you should send a request to your lender and the new buyer.
Thanks
