I just got approved for a loan and a few weeks later started getting my wages garnished. So I filed for bankruptcy can they take the loan away from me after I have already signed all the loan documents if I also use a reaffirmation of debt.
The lender will not take the loan away from you as you've already signed the required loan docs. You can reaffirm the mortgage which will make you personally liable for the dues. Then you can pay the mortgage on time and save the property.
