My mom quit claim deed her house to me three years ago. She recently passed away and found she has a loan under her name.

Am I liable for this loan? The loan /Mortgage? was made after she quit claim deeded the house to me. Please advise.
Is the loan attached to the property? If it is the bank has legal rights to the property if no one pays for it. If you want to keep the property you would be liable for the loan.
