How can one remove incorrect entries from credit report?
does any authorised agency work for it? anyone know?
1.Contact the 3 credit gencies individually...equifax.com,transunion.com,experian.com
2. Pay for a single credit report from each site ($10.00 estimate)
3. view your credit online
4. find the item that is NOT correct and that should be removed. You should be able to do an "online dispute" and state the reason why it should be removed.
5. Allow for 30 to 45 days for a response. You will receive notification via email and mail as to the results of your dispute. be prepard to provide documentation supporting your dispute.
Do NOT purchase all 3 bureaus from one of the credit agencies. Buy seperate reports from each one. Ex: when you log in to transunion.com you will purchase transunions credit burea only.
