Does a quitclaim ded need to be filed or recorded in Mihigan? It is notorized, but not filed. Is it still good after death?
Hi,
I believe the deed is still good and legally valid because it is signed by the grantor and is notarized. But it is also important to record the deed with the county clerk's office. Untill the deed is recorded, the property deed will not show the change in the title.
