how do i get my name off of a timeshare? is it better through a quit claim deed or a a warranty deed?
Hi divinediva,
You can use either a quitclaim deed or a warranty deed to get your name off the timeshare. However, you should keep in mind that the quit claim deed or the warranty deed will not relieve you from the financial liability towards the timeshare.

I was under the assumption once the timeshare is transferred to the other person's name, it now becomes their responsibility.
