Can my mother put my name on the deed to her property

her husband signed a quit claim deed on the property. can she deed the land over to me ( her daughter) with out his consent. this property is in arkansas. my mother lives there. i live in texas
Hi Sherro,

If your mother is the sole owner of the property then she can sign a quit claim and add you in the property deed. If it is a joint property then both needs to sign the quitclaim deed. Consult with a good real estate attorney to get detailed information.
