name is on deed, not mortgage..... now we are splitting up.

My ex partner and I bought our house 6 years ago. My name is on the deed, not the mortgage which is in his name. Since we have split up and want to move on I would like to know what my responsibilities are to the property. He would like to keep it and take full ownership, but what does that leave me with since we split investment in it 50/50 ( and I pay for half of the mortgage). If we sell now we would not get what we are paying for. If I just move out, I am left with simply renting a place to stay for the last 6 years. He doesn't want to try to wait out the market so is essentially asking me to move out.... is it possible for him to force me out?
Please help!!!!
Welcome oceanized,

As your name is mentioned on the property deed, your ex-partner won't be able to force you to move out of the property. If he does so, you can take legal actions against him.
