Myself, mother in law and husband are all listed on the property and owe a mortgage on it. how can i get it out of my husbands and myselfs name? my husband is sueing his boss along with 12 other employees and the boss has threatened to sue us back. i dont want him to be able to take the property. help any ideas on what to do???
Hi amberblanc!

Welcome to forums!

You and your husband can sign a quitclaim deed and transfer the property to your mother-in-law. This will help you in removing your name from the property deed. Thus, your property will be safe against any judgment or lawsuit that your husband's boss files against your husband.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
