I have a timeshare in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. It is paid off, but the mainteinance fee and tax is killing me. I want to just stop paying them. I just want to know if it will cause me any damage except for the credit score. I assume if I stop paying the tax, the property will be taken by the county for auction, and stop accumulating any mainteinance fee. Is it right?
Thank you

Hi LF,
Unless the property is sold off at the auction, you'll be liable for paying maintenance fees and taxes.
Thanks
