i am interested in doing a quitclaim deed on a home that was in the rears and was going into forclosure in which the bank sold the note instead of finishing the forclosure.i have had a chapter 7 bankruptcy discharged last year in which said mortgage was included.what can i do now?i havent lived in home in over 6 years and is in deplorable condition since i was told to leave home.
Hi sherm,
If your property was already sold off by the lender, then you're not the owner of the property any longer. You must have signed the quitclaim deed when the lender sold off the house. You don't have to sign a quitclaim deed now.
Thanks
