I Have a Deed for my home. It has my name and my Former wife's (deceased) on it. There is no mortgage on it. I live in it in Florida. I want to get a new title with my current wife and my names on it.
Hi pking!
Welcome to forums!
You will have to file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office in order to get the property transferred in your name. Then you can sign a quitclaim deed and add your new wife to the property deed. However, if your deceased wife left a will, then you need to probate the will and her assets will be divided accordingly.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
