is there a time limit to do a quit claim deed??
Hi amy!
Welcome to forums!
As per my knowledge, there is no limit to do a quitclaim deed. However, once a grantor signs the quitclaim deed, the grantee should record it immediately at the county recorder's office.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Amy, do you have a specific reason for asking...such as in a divorce settlement that calls for the transfer of title from one party to the other? If so, any timeframe requirements would be spelled out in a divorce decree, for example.
