My mother and her boyfriend owned a home togther in Florida for many years. They have since both deceased. The will states that his children get the house (and we want them to) but the State of Florida is demanding that I and my two brothers sign off from the property. How do we do this without incurring a big attorney"s bill?
Welcome swiftrpver,

You and your brother can sign a quitclaim deed and transfer the property to others. You need to record the deed at the county recorder's office. However, it is always a better option to contact an attorney for the same.
