My parents died and the wills were never probated. Thus, recently, we had affidavits of heirship done. I went to look at the recording and it only shows my name. My brother never wanted any of the property anyway. Do I still need to file a Warranty Deed to make sure the property is only in my name? This is in Johnson County, Texas.

Welcome Dale,
You have mentioned that you have done affidavit of heirship. I hope you have recorded it. If the recorded deed shows that the property is solely in your name, then you won't have to file any warranty deed.
