Quit claim deeded to party unintended

Posted on: 01st May, 2013 01:42 am
this is confusing and i have reached a stalemate everywhere i turn, hopefully i will have more luck here.
in 2005 my husband and i bought an investment property. we did this several times and each time my son and his wife would rent the property from us before we sold it.
in 2007 my husband and i divorced. due to the stress of the divorce and the holidays i signed a quit claim deed to my son and his wife. my former husband also did this. the mortgage is still in the name of my husband and myself.
after the divorce my ex-husband filed for bankruptcy and has since been discharged from the loan.
april 2013 my son and his wife divorced and i was told she was awarded the house. my son then quitclaimed the deed to her with the urging of the attorneys to avoid trial the following day and divorce through a settlement.
i now have a home loan for 200,000 dollars in my name alone and i don't have any rights to the house. i hold a loan for someone i have no relationship with. this makes no sense to me as this was never the intention. i don't know where to go from here. i would like the home back as by former daughter in law pays the mortgage late every month since august and she cannot afford it. what are my options? she will not quit claim in back to me.
Hi asas,

You can offer her a certain sum of money and buy her so that she quitclaims the property to you. This will make you the owner of the property and then you can take steps to sell it off.

Thanks
