My husband & I are behind on morgage payments we pay the owner of the home not the bank, which we should have done we realized that now, he wants not his money back he wants to for close the house and only wants us to sign the deed over to him!! What happens if we don't? Why is it he doesn't want the money we owe him but so important to him for us to sign over the deed which is in our names???I think their is something fishy their !! We lived in this home for four years pa state

If the deed is in your name, then no one can force you to sign that deed away. If someone is doing so, then you can take legal actions against that person.

I agree with what Sussane has said. Do not sign away the deed to him. No one can force you to do so.
