my sister who said she would take care of me in old age refuses to sign a quit deed on property she did not purchase and I now want to sell to go elsewhere. I purchased the house myself and without a mortgage. What are my options?
Hi aveo,

I assume that your sister is one of the owners of the property. In such a situation, you cannot force her to sign over the property to you. It will be better if you could simply file a partition lawsuit and try to sell off the property.

Thanks
