My mother died in 2012 and left a mobile home that was paid for at least five years ago. Recently, in trying to settle her estate discovered that there is a lien on her home and the housing company is no longer in business. What can I do that would not be too expensive. Help
Hi hughcarrie!
Welcome to the forums!
Unless the lien is paid off, the property will not be considered as free and clear. As the housing company is no longer in business, you should get in touch with an attorney and take his opinion in this regard.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
