Grandmother died in Texas 1983 she left no will. Upon her death an affidavit was filed and the house was left to her 5 children. My mother was deceased so me and my 2 sisters got our mothers part. Me of the deceased mother paid the 4 children out of the property and 1 sister The lawyer had me to file the warranty deeds. This sister has never paid any taxes because she say doesn't need to.. I have been paying all taxes. What can I do to get this sisters name off the record?
Not sure you can unless she cooperates - ask the lawyer that helped with the waranty deed he will have a better understanding of the scenario and the laws of your state
