We currently have the property under my name and my brother before I was married, the property now already paid off. I want to add my husband name to the property and remove my brother name since my brother requested because he's getting a divorce.

What are the process that I need to do and does it involve paying more taxes on the property? Thank you.
Welcome quyengan,

As the property is free and clear, your brother can sign a warranty deed and transfer his share of the property to you. Once this is done, you can sign another warranty deed and add your husband to the deed. This will make your husband one of the owners of the property. Make sure that you notarize and record the deed at the county recorder's office.
