adding my husband to the deed

Posted on: 27th Aug, 2010 09:34 am
what kind of form do I need to add my husband of 20 years to my deed. I own the home, there is no morgage but want the deed to reflect both of our names?
Hi rebecca!

Welcome to forums!

You can use a warranty deed in order to add your husband's name to the property. Your name will be mentioned as the grantor of the property while you and your husband's name will be mentioned as the grantee to the property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
