I would like to add my wife to my property. What's the proper course in accomplishing this. The property is in my name only.

To add your wife to the property, you need to sign a quitclaim deed. The quitclaim deed forms are available online but you can also draft them from an attorney. Once you fill in the quitclaim deed, you will have to notarize and record it at the county recorder's office. Check out some of the sample quitclaim deed forms from the given link:
