how soon after a property has been purchased can a name be added to the deed?
Hi colette,
You can immediately add a name to the property deed. However, you should note that if there is a mortgage on the property, then it will be better to inform the lender about the same.
Thanks

Hi colette!
Welcome to the forums!
You can add a name to the property deed any time you feel like. But as James has said, you should inform the lender about it if there is a mortgage on the property.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
