What's the easiest way to add a spouse to a deed? An Interspousal Transfer Deeds seem to be the right method but I want to be sure I don't exclude myself from title but only add my spouse. Do I do this by simply showing grantees as both me and spouse on the form.
Hi rob,
You can simply use a quit claim deed in order to add your spouse to the property deed. You will have to write your name as the grantor of the property whereas your name and your spouse's name will be mentioned as grantees of the property. Thus, both of you would become the owner of the property. You will then have to record the deed at the county recorder's office.

Quit Claim Deed is the best way to add your spouse on property deed. Record this deed in country records to make it validate.
Thanks.
Thanks.
