Inter transfer spousal deed

Posted on: 11th Mar, 2010 08:51 am
The deed of our home is in my name only. My wife (we are still married) wants me to complete an intertransfer spousal deed to get her name on the title. I'm not interested in giving her full ownership but only to ADD her name to the deed. How do I proceed
Hi Guest,

You can use a quit claim deed in order to add your wife's name to the property. You are not required to sign the inter-spousal transfer deed. Once the deed is signed and notarized, you need to get it recorded at the county recorder's office.

Thanks
