transferring ownership to administrator

Posted on: 18th Sep, 2008 07:47 am
Both my g-mother and mother are deceased. I am the administrator of my mothers estate. My mother was assumed owner of my g-mothers lot but the deed was never transferred to her name, it is still under my g-mothers name. My mother was paying taxes on lot until she passed and now I'm paying the taxes. As administrator of my mothers estate how do I transfer ownership of my g-mothers lot into my name?
Hi Guest!

You will have to file an Affidavit of Heirship at the County Recorder's Office to transfer your grandmother's property in your name.

Hi Guest!

I think filing an Affidavit of Heirship will help you transferring the property in your name.

Thanks,

Jerry
