Hi,
My name is Daisy and i had a question regarding the property next to my parents home..... The home has been abandoned by the owner over three years ago, don't know if the bank owns it or not, but they have let the property go to shit and i have been doing the upkeep and maintenance of the property....do i have adverse possession rights and if so how do i go about taking these rights???Please Help
Hi Daisy,

In order to adverse possess the property, you need to pay the taxes and maintain the property for a certain period of time as stated in your state laws. You can contact an attorney based in your state who is an expert in the adverse possession laws and take his opinion in this matter.
