mistake on property

Posted on: 21st Mar, 2011 08:13 am
I have consigned an antique to an auction. I did it too quickly and should not have done this. I told the auctioneer that I sole owned the property that I inherited. However, after returning home to Florida, I have found out that my husband of 44 yrs. also owns property...I inherited this property; however, beloved husband has paid for this property all of our lives together...He has been the sole provider of our family..I want husband to be able to sign for this too. What do I do?I feel it was a mistake.
Hi shatsie!

Welcome to forums!

You should inform your auctioneer and your husband about the whole thing and let them know about your mistake. I'm sure they will understand and the auctioneer will let you know what you and your husband need to do in this regard.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
