what is the normal fee for an attorney to change the title of property from one name to add my wife's name . We were single when i purchased the house.
Hi Guest,
Fees of the attorneys may vary. You can contact any real estate attorney and check out his fees for drafting a deed to add your wife's name to the property. You can even use the sample quitclaim deed forms available online to do the same. Once you fill out the deed, you'll have to notarize and record the deed.
Thanks

It shouldn't be more than a few hundred dollars. It's 2 hour's work at most. Or, do it yourself as jameshogg described.
