I am excited about this site, i need guidance and community. My wife family has a property that she wants to turn over to me.

It has some back taxes and I am willing to deal with...is their a cheaper way to get the deed transferred , the Realtor wants $210 to get the deed and type the new one up.

Can I save myself some time and money to do it myself???

you might save a little time and money, but if this is a trustworthy realtor, it might just be worth $210 to do the job. that sounds like a reasonable amount of money (depending on the expertise of the person).
