I am on the title and mortgage with someone, but I have paid 80 percent of everything. The house has lost value, I want to buy them out, but my partner wants me to buy them out at a ridiculous price. If I file a partition lawsuit can I get back the money I put in, so that it will be 50/50? Isn't it fair to split the negative balance? Thank you for your help.
