i recently puchased a property at a foreclosure auction.the this was a second home and the previous owner lives on the other side of the country. i dont want the contents but i want immediate access to the property and i dont want a second party having a key to my property.
the property has been paid in full and i have the title.

If the property has been transferred to you and you own it free and clear, you have the rights to change the locks. You may ask the previous owner to come and take away the contents of the property if you do not want to keep them.
