Hello there... my husband has ownership of our property. I have insufficient income. Will I still be able to change the ownership of the property in my name?
Hi Guest,
Income does not play a role in property ownership. It will play a role when you wish to take out a mortgage. You will be able to change the property ownership in your name even if you have a low income.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Guest,
Jerry is right in saying so. However, if you become the sole owner of the property, then the lender may ask you to add your name to the mortgage docs.
