How do you change title of property to include a daughter in the ownership of a prop...A former owner of a property has died and the co-owner would like to include his daughter in the ownership of the home he is living in. How do we change the title to include the daughter since the mother and wife died two and half years ago?
Hi mllrec,
You can file an affidavit of heirship in the county recorder's office and transfer the property in your name first. Then you can quitclaim the property to your daughter.
Thanks
