How do I need to do first.
Hi Nellie,
If the property is in your maiden name, then you need to sign a new quit claim deed mentioning your maiden name as the grantor of the property and your married name as the grantee to the property. Then, you need to record the deed at the county recorder's office. Thus, your maiden name would be changed to your married name in the property deed.
Thanks
