My father died this month. How does my mother remove his name from the deed and add my youngest sister's name? Do I need an attorning
No you shouldn't need to pay an attorney. Have your mom and your sister go down to the local title/abstract company and ask them to prepare a ''quit claim'' deed to remove your father and add your sister. Fairly simple process.
Best of luck.

Hi Mewill,
All you can do is tell your mom to sign a quitclaim deed and remove your dad form the title and add your youngest sister to the title. I would suggest you to consult with a good attorney before taking any step.
