Trust Recorded

My dad and I each own 50% of a property. He puts his 50% in a Trust (which was recorded). If there are changes made in his Trust, does he need to record it (with the county) each time there is change?
Hi Guest.

What kind of changes do you mean? If your dad transfers his share of the property or quitclaims to someone then it needs to be recorded in the county recorder's office.

Best of luck,
Larry

Lets say my dad decides to change the amounts or percentages he wishes to leave each child or possibly add someones name onto his trust, for example his new wife? Or maybe remove someone from his trust? Would that need to be recorded in the county recorder's office?

Normally, a trust is not recorded anywhere, so, any changes would likewise not be recorded. The deed from your father to the trust is recorded, though.
