My children 's father died in 2/2005. In his will he left them equal ownership 2 properties. They are both over 21. How do they change the name on the 2 deeds over to both of thier names
Hi Patricia!
Welcome to forums!
The will needs to be probated. Your children should contact an attorney and get the will probated. Once the will is probated, it needs to be recorded at the county recorder's office. Once they do so, the property will get transferred in their names.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
