My father was managing a great aunt's commercial property and they're both deceased. My family has tried to contact her grand and great grandchildren,to no avail. The renter of this property signed a lease with my father, which I have in my possession, but now won't pay backrent.Legally, can I evict her?
Hi braindead,
This is something which you need to clarify with a real estate attorney. He will help you in knowing whether or not you will be able to file a lawsuit against the tenant.
Thanks

Hi braindead!
Welcome to forums!
If the property is not in your name, then you may not be able to evict the tenant.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
